Qualifications
A college degree of mechanical design/manufacture or management in quality field. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, or in the quality field is desired. Requires a thorough knowledge of quality concepts including process control, analysis, Caterpillar internal certification principals, and ISO 9000 etc. Requires strong communication, cooperation and influence skills to work with all levels of employees and customers, especially with leadership management employees.


Desirable Qualifications
Requires quality tools knowledge and to be able to teach manufacturing/office employees how to properly apply quality tools or techniques. Requires being proactive when accomplishing objectives, and innovation is also required to deal with work problems and opportunities. Advanced computer applications, good oral and written skills in English are a must.


Responsibilities
This position requires working as the lead quality engineer on the respective quality control area like Incoming Quality Audit Area, Fabrication Quality Gate area, Assembly Quality Gates area & Quality Management System area.
