Job_description_responsibilities:
To perform virtual manufacturing simulation to support the improvement and problem resolution in manufacturing and design for manufacturability.
Virtual manufacture engineering (VME) is a process of using various analysis & simulation and digital/visualization tools to develop and validate the manufacturing processes in virtual environment, to achieve quality, velocity & safety in manufacturing. VME also evaluates our NPI product design(s) for manufacturability, ergonomics and serviceability. The incumbent will perform various simulations to develop the process and resolve the issues in manufacturing, including lightweight factory models, assembly ergonomics, time study, line balancing, layout optimization, and material routing.Significant challenges of this position in addition to being proficient in computer and simulation tools are working with people; clearly communicating the requirements and tasks, while gaining input from the team on refinement of same; translating both verbal and non-verbal information from the customer, management and team members. The incumbent must be pro-active and ability to resolve both technical and organizational issues during the course of the project execution.


Required_skills_qualifications:
1. A minimum of four-year degree in industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
2. two years of experience in digital manufacturing is required. Good knowledge and skills in digital manufacturing tools are strong plus. Skills in Pro/E, VisMockup, FCAD are preferred, while training would be provided.
3. At least 2 years of shop floor manufacturing experience
4. Great communication skills, needs to be accountable, innovative, energetic and personable.
