Qualifications
1)Bachelors in casting engineering
2) With more than 7 years of working experience in casting process, experience in melting, pouring, molding etc are desired.
3) In lieu of the above, would accept a MS or PhD in Engineering with an academic focus on materials processing/casting, minimum 5 years related experience is required.

Desirable Qualifications
Hyraulic components casting experience, like hydraulic valve, pump, cylinders casting
Responsibilities
1) Casting supplier assessment/audit
2) Casting component validation to ensure Caterpillars requirement is met.
3) Support casting technical issues for both Caterpillars facilities and suppliers.
4) Analyze casting process gap, and identify and execute opportunities to enhance performance and quality.
5) Casting part failure analysis and drive corrective actions.
6) Provide casting engineer training to Cat and suppliers
7) Participate the projects related to castings
