Qualifications
Requires a college degree or equivalent experience with 8 or more years of Caterpillar and industry experience in order to gain recognition as a divisional expert.
Off highway Truck / Articulated Truck / Large Wheel Loader Experience preferred
Candidate should have a broad business background with excellent communication skills., including a thorough knowledge of how Cat dealer partnership and distribution philosophy works to support Caterpillars sales and growth.
Must be able to deal with sensitive issues, counsel and advise others on new methods of equipment application, new technology and distribution methods
Fluency in both oral and written English

Desirable Qualifications
Deep subject matter expert in terms of product application knowledge base for a certain group of Cat models and is considered the fields go to resource".
Responsible to develop and deliver product and application training to field reps, dealers & customers.
Identify, manage and provide reports on competitive performance studies, feature/benefit comparisons and maintenance and repair cost analysis.
Develop, support and train field reps and dealers in the use of Value Estimating Tool (VET), Fleet Production Cost (FPC) and other equipment analysis software.

Responsibilities
Provide product and application expertise to the Asia field sales rep teams and dealers to support prime product and sales execution. Position also provides significant support to Product Groups and NPI Managers during various NPI phases in terms of VOC collection/communication, development of functional specifications and critical customer requirements
