Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Manufacturing
- Strong initiative, good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills, team player, self starter, and results oriented change agent
- Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills
- Ability to manage/direct multiple projects concurrently.
-Experience in more than one product development areas (like engineering, operations, purchasing, product support)
- Fluent in speaking Mandarin Chinese and English

Desirable Qualifications
- MS in Engineering, Manufacturing
- 6 Sigma DMEDI Black Belt trained
- Experienced in multiple phases of Caterpillar NPI product development (concept, design, test, analysis).
- Prior work experience on powertrain systems, construction machinery, or similar power equipment industries
- 2 years of product development and/or manufacturing team leadership experiences

Responsibilities
This position is part of TBU China engineering team and is responsible for leading TBU China team multiple Six Sigma project teams (core and extended) to support execution of TBU China sourcing and mid-tier drive train product development strategies.
-Lead multiple Six Sigma projects and deliver on cost, product quality and reliability, and project schedule goals
- Identify project opportunities and launch project teams
- Use DMAIC or DMEDI methodology and tools and project management techniques to drive project completion
- Develop and train Six Sigma Yellow Belts and team members
- Facilitate decision making within the Six Sigma project teams and supporting resources
- Develop/execute communication plan, own/issue Six Sigma team meeting minutes/actions items
- Hold regular project reviews and update meetings with management
