Job_description_responsibilities:
This position will work in Cat EMSD-China Design Center Component team to design and develop electronic &electrical components including detail hardware development, software development and validation for Cat heavy-duty machine products.
The incumbent is expected to deliver electronic &electrical components specification development, hardware design, schematic check, components selection and optimization, supplier development with GP and technical support to other team member for heavy-duty machine components development.
The incumbent is expected to deliver components to meet the required reliability & durability at or below components cost target and development cost target.
The incumbent will also actively work with his team member to develop high quality electronic &electrical components and manage the whole New Product Introduction projects and Continuous Product Improvement including the project schedule, cost, and quality control etc.
The incumbent will demonstrate strong customer focus on customer needs as well as new technologies, products, manufacturing & assembly processes/methods.


Required_skills_qualifications:
BS/MS in Electric & Electronics Engineering or related engineering majors
More than 2 years experience on electronic &electrical product design, development and test engineering
Ability to effectively communicate in English in work environment. (CET-VI at least)
Strong initiative, communication, interpersonal, teamwork skills.
Ability to conduct multiple projects concurrently.
Familiar with at least one schematic/layout tools
Desired_skills_qualifications: Manufacturing and/or assembly experience related to heavy-duty machines
Experiences in working w/ suppliers to develop components.
