Job_description_responsibilities:
This position will work in Cat EMSD-China Design Center Components Section to develop mechanical &electrical components, which need provide components specification, concept, design, analysis, validation, production release and after-production engineering support for Cat China heavy-duty machines.
The incumbent is expected to deliver technical support to other team members for Continuous Product Improvement and New Product Introduction to meet the critical customer requirements including reliability & durability at or below product cost target and development cost target.
The incumbent will also actively participate in component local sourcing efforts in China and component specification documentation services with global purchasing team to identify new opportunities.
The incumbent will demonstrate strong customer focus by staying current with customer needs as well as new technologies, products, manufacturing & assembly processes/methods.


Required_skills_qualifications:
BS/MS in Mechanical &Electrical Engineering or related engineering majors
More than 2 years experience of mechanical and structure parts design and analysis engineering
Ability to effectively communicate in English in work environment. (CET-IV at least)
Strong initiative, communication, interpersonal, teamwork skills.
Ability to conduct multiple projects concurrently.
Pro-engineer or schematic tools knowledge & experience
desired_skills_qualifications:
Manufacturing and/or assembly experience related to mechanical &electrical components manufacturing
Experiences in working w/ suppliers to develop components.
