job_description_responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing, with guidance from senior engineers, innovative and cost effective electrical system design engineering solutions for Medium TTT products manufactured in Asia and sold into LRC markets (China, CIS, AME, Indonesia, India). Incumbents demonstrate innovation and creativity by championing new initiatives, collaborating with team members and other teams, and keeping abreast of advancing technology. This position also may perform needs analysis and initiate ideas; evaluate new products, processes or systems; communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units; contribute to the design of new products and processes; perform product and process maintenance; collaborate with and support other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers and suppliers, and represent the company externally.
required_skills_qualifications: Requires an accredited Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or other technical area and excellent analytical skills. Candidates must have at least 2 years of machine or system design / development experience. Candidates must be able to gather relevant information, compare and contrast data, identify relationships and make recommendations with guidance from senior engineers. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to apply theory and conceptMust have ability to communicate effectively in English & Chinese with team members and others in the work group,as well employees in other units, customers and suppliers. Must be familiar with Pro-E (or similar) solid modeling CAE software.
