job_description_responsibilities: To assist engineers in supporting machine/system integration, while meeting the requirements of the internal or external customer, as well as meeting time and quality standard.

JOB DUTIIES:
? The Machine/System Integration technician may assist the engineers in working in any number of functional areas including, but not limited to, product design, development, research, quality, reliability, application and installation, product performance/support, service and facilities.
? Key areas of responsibility encountered in this role may include any or all of the following: Assist engineers and on own performs Needs Analysis and initiate ideas; Assist engineers and provide input into evaluating new products and processes; Assist engineers in communicating results to customers, team members and other business units; Assist engineers and provides input to the design of new products and processes; Assist engineers and provides input into product and process maintenance; Assist and support engineers, managers and marketing personnel.
? The incumbent may expect to have direct contact with engines, machines, and components, working in the machine/system integration workshop and engine lab, observing, operating and testing the product or component. Learning focuses on methods and processes applied to engineering functions, practical application of technical skills, communications and building knowledge of Caterpillar’s products.

required_skills_qualifications: The successful candidate will have an accredited technical Associates degree or equivalent experience with more than 10-year experience in solving industrial problems, experience in pilot or prototype machine building of construction or mining machine is preferred.
? Familiar with basic structure and principle of earthmovine machines, inclduing power train system, hydraulic system and electronic and electrical system. Familiar with components joint method, strong ability in disassembling and assembling parts/components using related tools, equipment.
? Experience in machine/system integration

? Ability to learn quickly and retain pertinent information
? Ability to concisely and accurately communicate technical

desired_skills_qualifications: Experience in more than one engineering area especially in machine and engine is desirable.
