job_description_responsibilities: Manage and provide the overall leadership to the marine prime product sales team for the MaK engine brand in China to ensure we meet our short, medium and long-term business goals. The position is responsible to ensure the correct people, processes and capabilities are in place to ensure we can execute upon our strategy to grow our PINS positiona and be the preferred marine solution provider to our customers in the segments we serve. The incumbent is responsible to increase our sales, profitability and market share in the region by developing and implementing targeted sales plans and initiatives by segments.

required_skills_qualifications: This position manages a team of professional employees where monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required as well as training, development and mentoring. The position is responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates.
Qualifications - Must have minimum 20 years experience in the China marine industry. Must have at least 10 years direct sales experience in marine related products in China. Must have previous supervisor / management positions with proven track record for delivering results. Minimum requirements also include strong leadership and communication skills, and broad knowledge of computer operations, merchandising and marketing, business administration, finance and commercial negotiations. An ability to communicate verbally and in writing with both Mandarin and English.
