Qualifications
4-yr accredited engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 4-10 years of design experience. Experience with Caterpillar systems, Pro/E, TeamCenter, HVC, and EDS. Six Sigma Green Belt experience & training. Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills and project management. Must be dependable, mature, and able to manage multifunctional teams. Basic office software skills required (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).

Desirable Qualifications
Product Support and/or Cat dealer experience a plus. Strong team motivational skills, with a proven track record of meeting project dates and deliverables. Vehicle design experience and past involvement in a production or manufacturing environment (assembly and/or fabrication) is highly desired.

Responsibilities
The position is responsible for developing product improvements for TTT line related to field quality issues.

The position will lead multifunctional teams to define the quality issue, determine root cause, develop and validate solutions, and implement the improvement in production, using the DMAIC Six Sigma methodologies.

The position will be responsible for managing projects at once and will work with most machine systems. The position will work with engineering, operations, product support, purchasing, suppliers, testing and development and our worldwide facilities.
