Qualifications
- BSc. in Mech. Eng (or related science or engineering degree e.g. Aerospace Eng, Physics, etc.)
- 10+ years industry work experience
- Strong thermal science (fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer) background
- Experience using performance or structural analysis software (e.g. KULI, Cool-1, Dynasty, Fluent, Abaqus, NASTRAN, etc.)
- Project management and engineering team leadership experience
- Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; Fluent in English and Chinese
- Strong customer focus

Desirable Qualifications
- MS or Phd in Mech. Eng (or related science or engineering degree e.g. Aerospace Eng, Physics, etc)
- Strong cooling component (all types of heat exchangers, fans, etc.) and muffler background
- Knowledge of diesel engine and machine cooling systems
- Knowledge of cooling component or system validation procedures
- Knowledge of CAT products and development processes (e.g. NPI, 6-sigma, etc.)

Responsibilities
Caterpillar Aftertreatment and Cooling Products-China (ACP-C) is seeking an Engineering Supervisor (SG 24-25) to manage and develop an analysis team. This team is responsible for peformance and structural analysis on cooling and exhaust (muffler) components. The supervisor will lead a team of about 10 engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Understand product group requests and work with ACP-China project engineers to manage and prioritize analysis projects while delivering timely and high quality results.
- Ensure best practices are used in supporting cooling and exhaust component and system development for engine and machine NPI and CPI programs.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to ACP-China analysts
- Provide project leadership on select cooling and exhaust system development programs
- Lead efforts to identify, develop, and deploy new tools and processes to further expand the analysis capabilities at ACP-China.
