Responsibilities 职责描述:

- Identify the most suitable mounting locations and fastening techniques, as well as determine proper access points and routing paths of any required harnesses and cables.

- Create a Bill of Materials (BOM) for all the brackets, wire and hardware; use design and drafting skills to create drawings and manuals for installing Trimble systems to multiple manufacturers’ heavy equipment typically used in heavy construction.

- Work with OEM, assist and encourage them in understanding and considering the need for controls technology to allow machines to be set up from the factory for easy installation of Trimble equipment.

Qualifications 要求:

- Must be mechanically inclined with an understanding of how the machine is used in construction, how the existing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems work, and how the required Trimble components can be added proficiently.
- Familiarity with basic electrical systems in typical of heavy equipment is required.
- Working well in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Well connected to construction machine manufacturers.
- Substantial travel, including oversea travel, is required so must be willing to be on the road a considerable portion of the time and be goal oriented and work independently to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
- Fluent in English is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience.
- Construction equipment or machine control experience is preferred.
- Being familiar with existing Trimble kits and systems is highly desirable.
