Brief Job Description
1.This individual will work for Caterpillar Drivetrain Systems design team in China providing engineering support for Cat transmission China localization and new product development, transmission system and components China sourcing, and Cat construction machinery China manufacturing.
2.The incumbent is responsible for developing transmission system and component designs suitable for China manufacturing capability. Key areas include transmission arrangement, gear boxes, torque converters, shifting clutches, gears, shafts, and bearing design.
3. The person is expected to work closely with engineers from our US and China teams and to collectively deliver quality transmission products and components for the broad construction machinery market Caterpillar serves.
4.The incumbent is expected to support transmission parts China sourcing development and supplier process and quality control, including components inspection and validation.
5.The incumbent will demonstrate strong customer focus by staying current with customer needs as well as new technologies, products, manufacturing & assembly processes/methods.

主要工作职责：
1.负责传动系统及主要零部件设计，包括整体系统，齿轮箱，液力变矩器，离合器， 以及齿轮/轴/轴承系设计
2.与我们美国工程师一起开发适合市场需求的高品质工程机械传动系统
3.协助供应商关键制造工艺开发，支持系统零部件验证和质量保证, 并支持整车系统匹配设计和新产品测试验证以实现成本，质量和可靠性目标。

Requirements:
1.BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering major, 3 years and above industry work experience
2.Design project experiences required
3.Fluent Mandarin Chinese and good English communication ability
4.Strong initiative, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
5.Good Pro/E or similar CAD software experiences

Desired:
1.Transmission system and components design and manufacturing experiences are preferred, especially on gears, shafts, clutches, and case/cover castings
2.Strong design and analysis capability desired
3.Manufcaturing experiences desired
