Job Description:
job_description_responsibilities: This position is responsible for leading fabrication suppliers to implement APQP in redesine &Resourcing projects identified by LRC team. ensures PPAP approval prior to delivery of new parts.This position executes assigned activities from CPPD, CPI,and manages sppllier to improve quality through 6 Simga methodology.Relationships: Maintains close working relactionships with supplliers and internal customers such as design team, product groups, supplier quality engineers etc.

required_skills_qualifications: A minimum of 3years of job related experience.· A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferably in engineering;· Engineering or manufacturing background plus familiarity with manufacturing processes to produce fabrications,machined parts.· Knowledge of quality management system, APQP.· Good interpersonal communication, analytical, leadership and project management skills to develop a cooperative working relationships with others both inside and outside of Caterpillar1. Quality Engineering certification.2. Background of welding, painting, machining process planing.3. Understanding of TS16949 or ISO9000.
