job_description_responsibilities: 1. Respond to dealer service questions and identify field concerns.
2. Review revised parts books and O&M manuals for accuracy. Advise when Service Manual corrections are needed.
3. Prepare data for release of technical information to dealers (Service Magazines, etc.).
4. Respond and research parts technical inquiries
5. DSN Level II support
required_skills_qualifications: Education: Minimum 2 years post high school training in engineering-related field. Engineering degree preferred.
Experience: 3 years of product experience
Knowledge/Skills: Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings; understand and be conversant with electrical and hydraulic systems; have a basic knowledge of all product line machines; possess excellent phone skills and communication ability; be able to write in a technical yet clear and concise manner; analytical trouble-shooting skills. Computer desktop publishing preferred.
Working Conditions: Travel is required for up to 14 day maximum time periods. Travel comprises less than 20% of the job.
Language: Fluent Chinese and English
desired_skills_qualifications: Working knowledge of Caterpillar product support/technical systems required. Strongly prefer some experience within the Paving Industry, either through internal or external exposure.
