Responsibility :

6-Sigma Black Belt-1 Cost Reduction Project Leader.
This position will work in the Electronics & System Integration-China Cost Reduction Team as a 6-Sigma Black Belt responsible for leading operator station system & component cost reduction idea generation, developing & launching projects and coaching cost reduction leads to deliver significant cost reduction using 6-Sigma methodology. This requires coordinating activities with globally located system & component engineering teams, New Product Introduction Managers, Operator Station Facility, Global Purchasing and supply base.

The incumbent will organize and lead teams to develop cost reduction ideas into projects and quickly lead into production that meet the critical customer requirements, reliability & durability, schedule, cost and R&D.

The incumbent will also actively participate in LCC Component sourcing efforts in China, competitive benchmarking and CPPD activities to identify new cost reduction opportunities through redesign, localization or designing to revised requirements.

The incumbent will demonstrate strong understanding of changing customer requirements while applying new technologies, products, manufacturing & assembly processes/methods to develop systems and components at appropriate cost.

Qualification:

BS/MS in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electro Mechanical Engineering
*Experiences in working w/ suppliers and manufacturing in provide engineering and development support
*Ability to effectively communicate in English in work environment.
*Strong initiative, communication, interpersonal, leadership, teambuilding and organizational skills.
*Ability to initiate, develop and lead multiple projects concurrently.
*At least 5 years related work experience

Desirable Qualification:
*Manufacturing and/or assembly experience related to heavy equipments
*Completed 6-Sigma Black Belt training & leading projects or has considerable experience leading Green Belt projects.
*Pro-engineer proficiency
*Design, analysis or test experiences related machine systems and component development.
