岗位说明
A. Basic Purpose and Function:
1. Based on Manitowoc Crane needs, sources suitable suppliers in term of product performance, quality, price, services…
2. Take the lead of the actions to achieve the Purchasing targets (schedule, price, quality, capacity, …)
3. Participates in global commodity teams to implement Supply Chain Management strategy to achieve lowest total costs, effective asset management, continuous quality improvement, on time delivery, and cycle time performance improvement and early supplier involvement in product development
4. Negotiate with suppliers to sign long term agreement and service level agreement
5. Be responsible for the whole implementation process based on projects management.


B. Responsibilities:
1. Based on the guidelines given by commodity manager, develop reliable supply chain with sufficient capacity to support APAC operations.
2. Continuously develop and manage vendors’ performance on quality and delivery to bring the best value to the company.
3. Support commodity manager to maintain competitive materials cost by using proper benchmark.
4. Aggressive localization in LCC by team work with other departments.
Based on the guidelines given by commodity manager, ensure best contract terms to fully protect the company’s interests.
5. Regularly evaluate and eliminate supply & intellectual property rights risks in the business, and set up & update clear supplier risk management strategy.
6. Collect useful information to commodity manager to market trends forecast.


C. Qualifications:
1. Bachelor Degree with mechanical major or higher in engineering or business with at least 5 years’ work experience and at least 3 years sourcing or developing suppliers related work experience in heavy machinery industries. 2 or 3 years of oversea experience (university or working experience) is a +.
2. Working experience in metal processing, especially for welding and machining (heavy components), ability of read and interpret drawings and specification.
3. Good communication skills with cross function departments and suppliers by using communication tools properly, such as telephone, e-mail, meeting (including video conference),
4. Good at building up and maintaining harmonious yet healthy relationships with other teams, departments and suppliers.
5. Fluent in the Mandarin and English Language, at least get CET 4 certificate, multi-cultural experience is requested
6. Strong experience to find preferred top suppliers for each commodities/projects : financial, technical, quality, …on-site audit
7. Demonstrate skills in sourcing methodology and purchasing negotiation tools in manufacturing business, like market analysis, cost breakdown analysis, total cost of ownership, etc. Certified Purchasing Manager is a plus.
8. Familiar with ISO9000 system, quality tools application in project management, like FMEA, APQP, PPAP etc.
