Job Description:
Quality Plan/Systems - Develop and implement a plan and the necessary systems and controls to
ensure that Plant produces and ships quality product.
MQ12005 - Collect & analyze data for quality metrics, ensure that proper corrective and
containment actions are developed and implemented. Perform gage R&Rs, develop and perform
Designs of Experiment, and collect and analyze data to monitor quality and then develop and
implement new processes, systems or other solutions to address opportunities.
ISO9000 - Lead auditor, ensure all data is collected & analyzed, issue corrective action requests
and follow up to ensure completion and ongoing compliance.
Fixtures - Check & analyze fixtures regularly for producing quality product.
The position is the acknowledged expert in the department and frequently provides technical
support on complex issues to internal and external customers.
Typical internal customers include employees from two or more work groups in a Division. The
positions primary customers are internal. The position is challenged to quickly and correctly
identify problems. The incumbent generally resolves issues by following departmental guidelines
or applying a solution that worked in the past.
Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness,
Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, Process Quality, Part Quality, Internal Quality Certification,
ISO 9000 Certification The position monitors adherence to quality standards and develops action
plans for addressing below standard performance.
PPAP audit for Engine components, make sure all PPAPs are match PPAP standard
requirements.
Contamination Control: follow contamination control requirements, conduct CC audit.
Work instructions audit follow up.

Requirements:
The position requires thorough knowledge of various engineering, manufacturing and
maintenance standards and practices and various systems at Caterpillar. The ability to utilize a
variety of computer software packages is also necessary. Good human relations skills are
required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the
department. Familiar with ISO9001 system maintenance. Familiar with PPAP/FMEA/Control Plan.
