Job Description:Tooling) Buyer C: This role is responsible accountable for the development, implementation, communication of the site(s) strategy for China as well as supporting the global strategy. Will need to recognize the potential for cost inventory reductions. Will meet with the local Business Units Global Purchasing Site teams to understand the voice of the Business/Customer. Develop local global suppliers to ensure that they meet required quality, delivery, cost expectations. Responsible for managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, special purchasing programs as well as supporting specific product line NPI programs. Will support the Direct Purchasing organization by developing local sources for tooling.

Requirements:This position requires an undergraduate degree from a college univeristy equivalent experience. A minimum of two years progressively responsible job related experience. Well developed interpersonal skills. Effective communicator (oral written). Capable of leading teams, suppliers, customers to effective solutions. Strong negotiator. Self motivated with ability to perform with minimal supervision. desired_skills_qualifications: Experience and/knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes related tooling. This could include, but is not limited to, the foundry industry, machining, stamping, forging, molding. Knowledge of cutting tool technology plus experience in such areas as quality, component and/tooling design, manufacturing, cost estimating would be extremely benefitial.
