PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

? Strong Product Knowledge. Extensive understanding of HUSCO products as well as an understanding of (hydraulic control systems, power train, hydraulic pumps, engines)(various automobile systems; power train, HVAC, emissions, suspension, power transfer, AWD)
? Voice of the Customer. Responsible for being the interface between customers and members of HUSCO. Effectively communicates between all levels and disciplines within HUSCO and our customers. Strong relationships with key customer program personnel.
? Adept at Project Management. Responsible for spear-heading applications from the initial stages to the formal production quotation stage. Interface with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Purchasing and other cross-functional departments to resolve customer questions/requests and address any product issues. Assist program manager with any customer-specific communication or actions.
? New Business Development. Responsible for calling on new customers, investigating new opportunities and identifying potential sales revenue opportunities for HUSCO to consider.
? Cost File & Quotation Development. Ensure pricing is competitive and achieves targeted profit margins. Responsible for ensuring key members of HUSCO understand the applications and time constraints in order for critical functional groups to compile formal cost information. Once completed, responsible for finalizing and/or reviewing the cost model and quotation, working closely with executive management to develop appropriate customer price.
? Problem Solving. Ability to listen to the customer’s concerns or issues and communicate to the appropriate company members and ensure quick resolution to the concern or issue.
? Marketing Oversight. Coordinate and participate in the planning of all trade shows. Prepare marketing reports from both internal and external data sources. Analyze data and reports on trends. Manage HUSCO advertising and promotional programs. Monitor the competition, coordinate development of literature and other sales support tools.
? Supervise and Develop Employees. Direct Sales and Marketing team to ensure timely and successful completion of projects and new product introductions in accordance with above responsibilities. Demonstrate core cultural competencies to subordinates. Provide challenging and stretching tasks and assignments. Attract, retain and develop the best people from inside or outside. Assemble talented teams. Broadly shares both responsibility and accountability. Create an environment that allows employees opportunities to finish their own work and trusts people to perform. Improve performance and abilities of subordinates through training, counseling, disciplining and responding to employee ideas and concerns. Be aware and supportive of each subordinate’s career goals. Bring out the best in people and is an effective people builder.
? Strong Team Player and Contributor. Serve as a liaison between the Sales department and all other departments within the company. Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combines strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

? Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
? Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience with technical, customized products.
? Detailed knowledge of HUSCO product with an understanding of engineering practices and support processes.
? Experience selling direct to OEM’s preferred.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
? Strength in ability to influence others, lead and participate in decision-making and make effective presentations.
? Pro-active problem solving skills with outstanding energy, determination and judgment.
? Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other functional areas as follows: Operations, Design Engineering, Purchasing and Inventory Control and Shipping/Receiving.
? Able to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and handle conflict in an effective manner.
? Experience with Microsoft Office products. Accurate typing/computer data entry with above average attention to detail.
? Willing and able to travel up to 65% domestically and internationally.
