As a member of the Technical Project Group, in accordance with the overall project Master Plan and Investment Budget, be responsible and for making sure process equipment that purchased in China are delivered safely, on spec, and on schedule.

Principal accountabilities
? Follow up of SOP’s for Project Technical Verification, prepare necessary documents for technical verification of the expected supplies
? Prepare specific verification documents in compliance with the SOPs in terms of Scope of Supply, Technical Specification, General Technical Requirements, performance guaranties, and securing time of delivery and services
? Assist project process managers for clarifications of technical issues/ solutions
? Follow up of the milestones in the vendors delivery schedule
? Conduct quality and performance inspection during equipment manufacturing period in China
? Report project progress in weekly and monthly basis
? Management of changes - being a link and bridge, to transfer technical requirements of changes between project process managers and equipment vendors
? Risk Management – anticipate any potential risks in terms of off-spec or slippage of schedule. work with project process managers to come up with elimination action plans
? Participate in / or carry out FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) on behalf of project process managers

Experience within the area
? Min 5 years of experience of project execution of production machinery, equipment and plants
? Min 5 years of working experience in production of metal and iron products, in dry & reefer container manufacturing is a plus
? Familiar with GB and IEC standard, be able to verify electrical and automation design from equipment vendors, and conduct site quality inspection. Knowledge to Chilean Electrical Standard preferable.
? Familiar with machinery and equipment automation, knowledge on PLC programming
? Microsoft Office / AutoCAD

Education background
? Electrical Engineering/Automation, B.S or above
? Language: English (written and oral)

Other information
? Duration of the Contract: Completion of the MCIS project (approx. 1.5 years)
? Working location: Qingdao
? Report to : Project Manager – Technical Verification of MCIS project
? Require frequent business trip in China, and overtime teleconference with oversea project team where time difference from China is 12 hours
